Deal Alert: $100,000 for First-Time Home Buyers in Santa Barbara
You're probably used to having $100,000 just fall into your lap.
Me neither. But here's your chance. The Housing Trust Fund of Santa Barbara County JUST added an exciting component to their Workforce Homebuyer Program: a $100,000 downpayment assistance loan that covers properties in the South County (yes, including Santa Barbara!).
Learn more about the program in the Homebuyer Orientation Packet.
There are some strings, of course, which you can read about in the Program Guidelines. They include restrictions on income, property type, property location, loan priority, etc. This is the tradeoff for getting $100,000 in one of the most expensive real estate markets in the country. A fair deal if you ask me.
Contact me with any questions about the program. Just a few months ago, I helped a couple buy their first home in Carpinteria using Carpinteria's Workforce Homebuyer Down Payment Loan Program.
Cheers! - Devin
